Tell Us A Little about You.
@BurningCauldronFitness: My name is Avery, I grew up outside of Charlotte NC and got to play football in college in the mountains of NC. I’m a big fan of books, musical theatre, anime, sports and the gym. Ive been a lifelong athlete, gained a bunch of weight after i finished college football and lost my routine. I got back into reading, specifically listening to audiobooks. Thanks to books, I have locked back in, got back into a routine with the gym and my overall fitness. I got out of reading when I was younger and its been the greatest decision I could have made to finally get back into it.
Tell Us A Little about your Bookstagram account And How It Got Started.
@BurningCauldronFitness: Im super passionate about fitness, health, books, and trying my best to get other men to be a better version of themselves. Getting guys away from the red pill type of content that typically goes along with the fitness space. The type of books I read tend to be romantasy/spicy/romance books and not enough men read in general, let alone books that would be in those genres. When I first started posting on social media, I was looking for an outlet to talk about the books I was reading, have public accountability for me to be consistent in the gym and meet some cool people who liked the same things I do.
Who is your Favorite indie/small press author and why?
@BurningCauldronFitness: L.C. Moon, Jayme Smith, Andrew Givler, and Josh Volk to name a few. They are all really great people, I love their writing styles and the books that i have read from each of them have been unique and really cool. I mainly listen to audiobooks so i really have to vibe with a book to read the physical copy.
