@KyleMod: I am terrible with these kinds of questions to be honest! Let’s see, I’m kind of just your average guy that grew up in a very small town in the suburbs of Chicago. I’m the oldest of 5, the only boy and an age gap sibling so you can only imagine that dynamic. I feel like nothing about my life is all that exciting if I’m being completely honest. I just like to spend quality time with quality people but I also truly love my alone time as well. I find so much joy in the little things!
Tell Us A Little about your Bookstagram account And How It Got Started.
@KyleMod: So my account honestly kind of started by accident. In January of 2025 I was kind of going through a rough time in my life and one day I just decided I wanted to make a funny little lip sync video to a sound that related to Onyx Storm and the video kind of blew up and I just kind of rolled with it and kept posting about books and I ended up really loving it to my surprise! I am not someone that likes a lot of attention so the fact that I’m a content creator now is actually insane to think about but I wouldn’t change it for the world. I have connected with some truly amazing people and have had so many incredible opportunities come my way!
Who is your Favorite indie/small press author and why?
@KyleMod: Alexandra St Pierre no doubt! Her writing just speaks to my soul. She has helped heal parts of me in every book of hers that I have read. She is an incredible human being on top of that. I will forever scream from the roof tops that everyone should check out her work! Just make sure you check your triggers because she writes about very heavy topics but she does it so beautifully.
Alltime Favorite indie book?
